Well that episode really sucked! :eek  I got up yesterday just after 6 AM to find that the site was "not found".  I opened up a support ticket hoping that the problem would be quickly resolved and went to work.  I came home 12 hours later to find that the site was still "not found" and a response from support stating "it appears that your domain fell out of DNS, I have re-added it and it will take effect at 3:00 AM....."  What? :confused  How can that happen? :confused  Apparently the site wasn't down, but it couldn't be found using "havasudoug.com".  The actual IP address still worked, but the site was unusable because all the references in the code used "havasudoug.com" instead of the actual IP address.  Not only had it been 12 hours, but it was still 9 hours away from getting resolved. :(  I host many avatars for people that are used on other boards, so they just showed up as red x's the whole time.  My email was undeliverable all day so I hope I didn't miss any important email.  If anyone tried to send me anything during that time, you can resend it now and it will work.

Thanks Rich. :)  You're right, but man that was a blow! :(  What if this was my business and I depended on the site for income?  What about everyone that uses "havasudoug.com" email addresses?  No one could get their email for 21 hours.  :(  Hopefully this will never happen again.  :)

:rotflmao   That's the part that's so frustrating.  I didn't do anything to cause it.  I wasn't doing maintenance or updates or anything.  I'm still looking forward to a more detailed explanation than what I have received so far.
