Right on, glad you got to hit the water. :good That don't look like BFE to me. Every time I see houses by the water I get jealous. You dont get that much out here as ya know. And as usual the wife is lookin good   :cool  Thanks for the pics.

We might hit Roosevelt on Sunday and Monday. OP6 is right around the corner hope we can hook up.

Thanks KC. When you live in IL, it's BFE. To far from my home turf.(San Diego)

We do have a great waterway though, 10 lakes all connected together part of a river way(about 30mi). Tons of bars and resturants on  the water, and best of all, boat drags every Thursday night @ Blarney Island during the summer.

Being on the water on a Thursday :confused I can't even imagine that. I'm sweet talking BC into getting out of Tucson and getting closer to water. But we both like the desert so much the river or Vegas will be an option thats do-able.

Because our season is so short we have to get in as much boating as possible. From end of May till September we are on the water every Thursday, Saturday, & Sunday.(weather permitting) Every once in a while we'll go for a dinner cruise during the week.

Thanks miller.

It take's about 20-25 minutes to get to where we launch from our house. We could get on the water in about 5-10 minutes but, then we would have to go through a lock. It's just easier to drive a little further and be on the upper part of the river where alot more of the action is. The locks are a pain because you usually have to wait a while.

This is where we do most of boating durning the summer. These are all of the lakes and then you can run down river which is off the map and go for another 15 miles approx.

They have the Thursday night races at a bar that's in the middle of Grass lake. Pretty cool deal, if you get a chance check out the web site. www.blarneyisland.com (it's a new site, so I'm not sure what's all on it.)

Lindsey and I took a Boat up the Thames once and went through the locks. They are a trip. I don’t think I would want to take a boat as nice as yours through a lock! I would be afraid of some guy in a fishing boat bashing into me in the lock.

That is the boat the guy that rescued my wife & kids from upriver after my accident had but his was an inboard. My wife fell in love with the dry smooth ride.... Is it a 25'?  I like the twin OBs better than an inboard- do they give you any more room in the boat without the motor there? (more seating room?)

It's a small lock, you can probably fit four 25' boats in it at one time. Two on one side and two on the other. That leaves enough room that your not banging into each other.

It is a 25'. You gain alot of room under the hatch obviously, but no more seating room. Tons of room where the real motors are supposed to be. :D  I love this boat, 2-3' chop and your running along at 90mph no problem. I can't wait to really get on it. I just have to do it when the wife's not in the boat.

You have to have a beverage with Dinner!  I will tell you that Walter Payton’s beer sucks!

My customer took beer very seriously so I was forced to sample the local beers. :rolleys  :D

Seriously if I was able to break away I would have. But it was a very rough trip and we spent all the time that we weren’t working smoozing the customer to keep the program sold.

There is a good chance that I will be coming back to that area and I guarantee that I will hook up with you than.
