I was just thinking about the people I seem to get along with best from the Hot Boat boards, and who I follow to other boards, and they seem to be predominately JETTERS! I was the only v-drive at the CBBB. I hook up with jetters at Elsinore! I don't have a mullet!
Am I really a Jetter? LOL
Is it me, or do most of the v-drive guys take themselves way too seriously? (not all of them)

And who says the jet guys suck??? (other than the uptight bench racing v-driving leave the boat on the trailer cause a duck may just swim by and swamp it kind of guys).

We have a couple in here already, but they are cool. I know what you mean though by reading some of those hotboat threads. I currently have a jet, but will have an I/O next only because the boat will be so much bigger. That won't be anytime soon though.

I think I will always have a v-drive in my arsenal. Â I grew up going to the river. Â There are 4 v-drives in my family and 3 stern drives. Â I like the way the v-drive handles and that the motor is turned around - kind of a reflection on me!
But I have thought about getting a jet for hitting the lower areas of the CO river. Anyone got a green Schida jet for sale?
But I love boats in general - they are peachy keen.

Sometimes we're accomodating to requests, other times we just laugh at you and go an entirely different direction. Which reminds me... Betty needs a name... Pathetic Loser comes to mind.
