In the last few weeks I've been to a couple of good concerts. Saw Public Enemy at House of Blues in San Diego. They put on a good show, played lots of their old "classics". Flava Flav was there, he did a few stage dives. It's all general admission, we were right up front and got high fives from Chuck D and Flava Flav.  They were really good, had tons of energy and even played some of their new stuff.

Went to Gypsy Kings on Wednesda night at Viejas. Wifes client got us free tickets, 8th row, center stage. They put on a good show and played for about 2 hours. They were hurting though, i guess when you're yelling some Spanish for 30 years, it takes it's toll. They can rock a guitar like no other, just efortless and always in tune. There was 6 guys on stage playing guitar, one drummer, one keyboard, one bass, and one hand drums (bongos and such). We went to the sushi restuarant at Viejas before the show, i don't recommend it. We'll try to steak house next time. Cold Stone was good though.

Haven't done any recently.
1 1/2 yrs ago saw English Beat at BellyUp.
Seen the B-52's 3 times when at Humphreys.
Both were loads of fun for us.

EB and B-52 was great for me and Jan cuz they were some of our favorites in our youth, we could pretty much sing along every song they performed.
Good times for sure.

Went to see Don Henley at Soboba a few weeks back....EXCELLENT show, very relaxed, for him... :cool

We went to a lot of concerts at the fair this year and by far the best to me was Dave Mason  :good

Korn last sunday and Godsmack last month. Both rocked but Godsmack was a little better concert.
