We decided to stay in town for Labor Day this year. We are going to do BBQ with our neighbors down the street. Pulled Pork on Sunday.

We usually get a large pork shoulder (10-12 pounds). We do a three part dry rub - kosher salt, brown sugar, cayenne pepper. Put it on a drip pan in a classic weber bbq and cook it for hours on indirect heat. The side and trimmings include homemade; slaw, bbq sauce, potato salad, etc...

On Monday the family is coming over.  We are bbqing tritip and honey mustard chicken.

What's your plan on Labor Day?  Got any good bbq recipes?

I had plans but after seeing your menu, hot dogs just won't work. What was your address again?
Joking aside, BBQ'd Prime Rib,  with different rubs of course.
All the fixings included, Corn, Potatoes, and Mushrooms, all BBQ'd too.

Yup.  We'll be bbq'ing some new york steak, rib eye, honey teriyaki chicken.  As sides, I think I'll put some crab and sushi.  

I'm gettin hungry just thinking of all this food.

just warming up for the 5 to 7 day trips. Some boats just got down to Guadelupe this week and are seeing some 40 to 70# YFT

Not sure what we're having...going to guess it's VENISON since Mr. Miller nabbed one yesterday morning.



My dad just bought Miller a BBQ for his birthday....(now have 3!;) but we needed one that we could just turn on and cook...the other two are wood burn'n BBQs.

Anyhow, I know he's been MIA...so here's a quick clip of the elusive Miller thanking my dad for the BBQ :)
