Can't believe how pathetic the Cards looked in the game. Those offenses were both so horrible it made the defenses look spectacular.
Don't care what the announcers said about the prevent defense.........Az totally changed on that last drive and they paid for it dearly with a L. Better teach them boys how to secure a fumbled ball.

I actually was pulling for them to win so the poor coach didn't continue the trend of loosing their first game as head coach of the Cards.
Did you catch that stat? with last nights loss he is now the 9th coach in a row with the Cards to loose their opening game.
After they lined up with just 4 down men on the line for SF's last drive I knew they'd screw it up somehow, the linebackers weren't even in the picture :rolleyes

Yup, prevented them from winning.
To this day it eats me up to watch a team play "Prevent" when the defense had performed well all day(or night) in the regular formations.

I have to agree. I think they will do pretty well but If they do make the Series. I'm not sure they will win the big dance. I hope they will but I will not be disapointed if they don't.
