Hate to say it but Ohio isn't the only state with foreclosures going on. They just happen to have more homes than folks to live in them.   :D

Foreclosures are way up out here as well. I've never seen so many in Ventura County.

Well I just better get a house out of this deal and I won't feel guilty about it either.

Eleven years ago:

My, then wife, and I had a beautiful 3 bedroom house with a pool in a beautiful neighborhood.  Unfortunately, we went through a divorce and neither of us could buy out the other for the home. :( We paid $220,000 for the home just 3 years before.  Selling the house was our only option, but she resisted.  She lived in it but thrashed it by draining the pool, etc.  The house went into foreclosure proceedings and we sold it in the nick of time as a "short sale" for $209,000.  It is worth about $750,000 today and it is 2 blocks from where I live now. :banghead
