You should see her killing spiders, she's a pro. She does a regular spider killing spree under the dogs house, sometimes using my flops :laugh

Tarantula's are actually just scary looking but generally harmless...I found one walking up my sidewalk one day(which was kinda random :stupid ) and kept him for a while before releasing him into the wild, they'll just walk up/down your arm or whatever....they could care less about you.

Learned a long time ago that tararntulas are pretty docile but when pressed, they can and will bite. But hell; the damn things are so scary lookin' that the bite does less damage than the damage ya bring upon yourself runnin' into things tryin' to get away from 'em! :eek

Glad to know it's that time of the year.  I'll keep my eyes open for them.  :eek You really don't see them unless it's mating season. And, to put your mind at ease, they nest in the dirt, not in houses, though they occassionally get lost and wander in.

Tarantula's are pretty cool.  We seem to have a lot of black widows and wolf spiders at my house.  I can't stand those at all.  They give me the hebee jebees.
