Dear Friends,
I wanted to update you on my fundraising for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. There is 68 days left until the Carlsbad Marathon on January 20th. Last week was sort of a halfway point in the training; we did a 13 mile training run. We’ll work up to 20 miles prior to the marathon.
So far I have raised $4688 !!! My minimum fundraising goal is $5000, so we’re not too far off. I'd really like to get to $7,500 - which I think would be awesome. If you have already donated, I want to thank you; it really means a lot to me that you are wiling to help me reach my goal.

Just so you all know how serious Ari is about this race, we were at the River two weekends ago, he got up at 5:30 on Saturday morning and went for a 12 mile run, that's freaking dedication is you ask me... Â |
Thanks for the endorsement Barry....
I went out to Palm Desert this weekend to visit the parents I got up at 6:00 and knocked out 13 miles - then I played a round of golf. Did the 13 miles in 2:10, not too bad - about 10:10 miles times on average. Shot a 93 on the executive course - it had water hazards on every hole. Pretty pleased considering I haven't picked up a golf club in over a year.

So if you need more deductions for 2007, throw some more in before January 1. If you want to hold off for some 2008 write-off - that's fine to. Thanks for helping me out.

Just thought i would bump this to the top.... Here's the latest info. I learned last week that I am ALMOST the top fundraiser in San Diego County. There are two "divisions" - San Diego Central and San Diego North. I am on the Central team and have raised the most money. There is one person on the North County team that has raised a few more bucks - so now I'm gunnin' to be the top person.
