Doug,
Are you still running a few days a week? How's it going?

I haven't been lately, but I need to start again. The good news is that I haven't gained any weight because of it.
Sort of related, but not an excuse:
I ordered a heart rate monitor online. I was charged, but it never came. When I investigated, I found that the order was cancelled and they issued me a refund.
So I ordered another one from a DIFFERENT online company. I was charged for that one too and it didn't come. I tried to contact the company through several methods, but failed everytime. The good thing is I paid with PayPal and I opened a dispute with them. I received a full refund that day.
Meanwhile, the fires came and I didn't want to breath that crap. The air finally cleared, but I haven't resumed running yet.

What model heart rate monitor are you thinking about getting? I use the RS200sd with the footpod. It's pretty cool; it can track your distance, pace, etc... Also, keeps a log of your runs, so you can go back and look at previous workouts. For what you are doing, the RS100 should be pretty good.

Thanks for the link Ari. Â I don't recall what model I chose, but it wasn't made by Polar. Â As I recall, I had read that the battery is not user replaceable and you have to send it back to Polar when you need a new battery? Â On the other hand, I read that Polar invented the heart rate monitor and they lead the pack in performance.
Also, I liked the one you showed me in Parker.
