Took the wife to Disneyland over the weekend for her birthday, a nice escape for a few days. :jumpie
They are honoring the folks of Fire and Law Enforcement for helping with the fires, very nice discount on tickets.
Went up Saturday morning and spent the day at DLand, hit as many rides as we could, and then spent the evening at the Jazz Kitchen in Downtown Disney.  Groovy live tunes, nice bar,, cool food, great drinks.  Got a bit slammed :drink but thanks to Zig's recommendation :good, we were staying at the Hyatt and we got the shuttle back to the room.
Sunday we hit California Adventure for a bit, pretty cool layout and  then DLand again for a few hours.  Crowds were bigger on Sunday, but not over done.  All in all a great weekend in SoCal.  :good  :D

Very nice. Sounds like alot has changed in the 20+ years since we've been. May have to check it out. :good  What are the hours of operation for this time of year?

Yup, way different than my last visit as well.  I think they are open from 8am to midnight right now.
I forgot to mention the very cool Xmas parade thru the holidays.  :good
