they just dont SMELL the same.... |
You could go th Checker and get a couple of them Pine Tree air freshners and hang them towards the middle of the tree.

Real trees are nothing but a pain in the arse and a fire hazard, we've had a fake one since the 80's and anybody that seen it could not tell the difference, wife had some kinda spray stuff that she sprayed on it and it smelled like the real thing!. I think we paid $20 for it the day after Christmas all decorated!..

Quote (Fragile Magic @ Dec. 04 2007,10:09 pm) | We have started a tradition where we buy live trees with their roots intact, then go to a favorite place deep in the woods where we camp and plant them for generations to come, and storys to pass down around....... |
That's kinda cool!.

The "real" ones are a "real" pain in the ass......Sap on the carpet, needles everywhere, the kids always want to bring it out to the desert to burn, but they don't have to deal with hauling it all the way out there...
Is that sounding Grinchy enough for ya? Â |
I'm with ya there!..

Picture this, A few years ago we go and by this REAL tree, you know the one that you can plant after X-mass, and has a big round ball of dirt at the bottom, well they put this 6ft tall tree in the back of my truck, we get home, and back up to the porch and slide it to the real of the bed, Now I bought this big round tub to put it into and give it water, well I put tub under tailgate, and push tree of tailgate into said tub, well tub was not big enough, well you get the picture, and to pick up that tree was not easy, this was the last time we did that.

I'm still not sure. I've seen fake ones that look fake, real ones that look real, fake ones that look real, and real ones that look fake. I know I prefer real ones but there is something to be said for fake ones too. Some are more rounded than others real or fake. Some are more pointy than others. Looking head on, it's good if both sides somewhat match. Either can be a real handfull. I perfer them really large, but remember, the bigger they are the more their gonna cost ya.
