That's a good sized one. I lived in a place with 3 white ones. You could set your clocks by what time they came out every evening.

He swooped down on my dog once.  I heard my dog barking in the back yard and looked outside and the owl was right above her.  I don't think the owl realized how big my dog was untill it got close to her.
