I break out in a sweat just seeing the promo's for the show.
The one I realy got into was Shaq's big Challenge. Where he challenged 6 kids that were severly over weight to lose weight. He also tryed to get the schools to do an exersize period and revamped the cafateria menu.

Quote (Ziggy @ Dec. 19 2007,2:48 pm) | Anyone watch that show? Pretty damn inspirational if you ask me. Top 3-4 people lost 50% of their body weight. When this show started the people were so obese I never thought they'd succeed, but they did. Some more than others and the transformations were rather dramatic. |
Ya know, losing weight is a simple no brainer no fockin "Calories", the real PISSER about it is the mental thing once you qonquer that, it's all down hill!.. I went from 296 to 160, and barely walking at snail speed to running 5 miles in 30 minutes in less than 8 months!. The wife finally got her $hit together and she's down 50 and moving right along!..

Absolutely it is mental over habits. I'd dropped a little over 50lbs and needed another 20ish to hit my target weight. It was a gradual loss of concentration and before I knew it a handfull of my bad habits returned and life took over again...I haven't "found the time".............but I'm determined to find it again........pretty soon

Lets drink to that Good for you. In my younger years I was athletic and fit then an injury changed my world drastically and I became rather inactive, married very young and grew outward with my pregnant teenaged wife....been a tough go for me ever since. I can do it, I just have to dedicate myself to it.
