This show cracks me up.....people watch a video of their home being violated and destroyed, in essence.
So one episode I watched was these 3 black women who had a very clean and nice home full of nic-nacs everywhere, mom rightfully was proud of her home. As 3 single ladies they always feel vunerable.
After they saw the dude get in through an open window and take everything, they wanted to rip his head off, especially the two plump daughters.
Anyway, after the show sets them up with security locks, video stuff, safes and all kinda of goodies the host says they'll randomly chack again in the next couple weeks.
The theif dude walks up and checks the same window he originally got in...unlocked, wide open. Then as a joke he looks under the doormat at the front door.......A FRICKEN KEY laid there, then the side door was left unlocked too beside the newly loackable gate.
The mother was PISSED cuz apparently her two fat lazy daughters left all that stuff like that :beat . These two girls blamed each other...I was just.......this, I was just.....that :rolleyes  :rolleyes
IMO, the show wasted their money on these women but it made for a hilarious episode.
It doesn't surprise me that people that are so worried about security of their homes are too lazy to use what was made available to them, for free. Other episodes have been similar but not quite as blatant.
.

On the other hand, the show has probably opened some eyes as to how easy a theif can gain entry to your house. I know it makes me think twice about certain things.

I can't tell you how many different things I've tried to get my kids to lock the damn door behind them! I've left notes, screamed and hollered, threatened to take away stuff.....but I must say, after about 10 years they get the hang of it.  :good

Great show. I've asked the wife and kids to close the garage door when they go in the house repeatedly, I have a toolbox full of tools, golf clubs, bikes, all sorts of stuff in the garage that I really would like to keep, so do you think that they learned anything by me yelling and screaming? Nope, one day I went to get a couple of Golf Clubs to give to a guy that lost his in a fire and guess what was missing, I was furious, they will never learn until it's something of theirs that is stolen... Rant OFF!!! :D :D

I have watched this show a couple times. Both times the thief has come back after the security installs and can not get in.  :good   One of the shows was a retired couple that would leave for weeks traveling in their motor home. They now have a neibor watching their place and monitoring their security system for the house when gone.
