We drove by her memorial today, where her body was found, it's full of flowers, stuffed animals, and blue ribbons.  I hope they find the guy who killed her, the local news says they have new leads every day.

The good thing to come out of these last few missing college students is that my daughter (black belt in Karate and now instructor) has decided to start a self-defense class for girls when she goes to college in 2 years.  She thinks it will be a great service and a good way to make a little bit of cash.  Maybe the university she goes to will figure out a way to pay her to do it so the students won't have to pay.  She really wants to help others not get in these situations.  I'm proud of her.

Seems like they are getting a lot of action on leads, so I hope it's not long before they find the person.

Police make an arrest.  It took them 10 months but they arrested him by DNA.

They need to find a big tall tree and a short piece of rope and string him up high and let him swing till the sun goes down.

Self defense classes are good, but sometimes not effective if a 100 lb woman is up against a 300 lb man.  Pepper spray and stun guns are not always effective either.  Best defense is a little lightweight handgun in the possession of somebody that knows how to use it :good   ALWAYS effective :guns  :guns

They have alot of Self Defense Firearms courses up here for women and I know a few women that carry guns daily.  There is no doubt in my mind that if anyone were to attack the women that I know that carry, that the attacker will not be getting up off the ground under their own power

I was just reading the local paper here and it turns out that this guy they arrested was from here originally and was working about 2 hours from here when they nabbed him.  His mother lives just a few blocks away from me.
Local paper here says that he is also a suspect in 3 other murders of women due to dna evidence.  Lethal injection is too good for him.....I say he needs a good old fashioned hanging or death by stoning
