I try not to let the Suburban get under 1/2 tank. Cause if you fill that 42 gallon tank up when its near empty its pretty depressing :cry Its sad when you can't even get a full tank of gas for $100 :say?  :angry  :pissed

One or two things are going to happen here real soon, I Have to have my truck to get to work, and so does the wife, both are 4x4, you need them here in the winter, if you want to be safe, or I move and I can get me a small car and she can drive here Pt all year long, I'm starting to think that being out there I will save money, 1 I can drive a small car to work and never worry about it rusting away, 2 I won't be heating my house with this crazy gas bill for six months, $300 or more, here in the winter time 10 gals of gas is like getting 5 gals (winter blend ) thinner, just ranting, Sorry.

Oh I know you guys run your AC all summer, and that cost money to, But I think it may be cheaper in the long run.

My boss put out a memo yesterday, we are now to turn off the refer's on the trailers, set them at 28* for frozen loads, and 35* for cooler, and when we are loading and unloading turn them off, need to save fuel.

This is the way it is heading, befor long your frozen good will get to the store defrosted, and then they can refreeze once in the freezer.

You only need the AC for about a month and a half, two at the most, rest of the time the Evap Cooler keeps the place nice and cool!.. :good

Heck, I don't have either.....average temp around here is pretty mild due to the ocean. Stays cool in the summer and ok during what winter we do have. (now, if some people would leave, that would be nice :D )

This morning was actually pretty warm at 4:30 am.

Must mean summer's coming!  :jumpie

If gas is over 4 bucks here in Cali now, that has to be for premium or full serve (do they still have that? :stupid ) or over in SF.  But it is sure headed that way for regular unleaded.  Oil hit $103 a barrel today, I'm afraid to even go by the gas station. But I'm almost down to 1/2 a tank so I need to fill up.  Let's see, it was $3.25 on Tuesday at Arco..any bets on what it will be today?  And yet aren't we sitting on the highest gas reserves EVER? :stupid

I dread my next trip down to SoCal...I'm sure I'll be paying well over 4 bucks when I have to fill up on the way.  I miss the days when I could make it on a full tank. :banghead
