I figured it best to ask for Help here on HDF were the people seem to be much more intelligent and reliable, then well... the other boards :stupid

I know ShueMan and BigDog are in, but I have several more spots to fill with the size of the event more than tripleing this year, my responsibilities are also growing for Desert Storm. I could pull help from my car club but being as this is a boating event I would like to get help from the boating community.

I need help for the Desert Storm Street Party Thursday Evening April 24th with parking control (over 100 boats to park on the street) and a parking lot attendant for the (non-displaying) participants to park and register for the run.

you will be rewarded for your efforts and not just with trinkets, you get to go to the Saturday evening D.S. Dinner and there is a (poker run/walk) just for the volunteers, I heard mention of a total of $1k in the pot ($500 best hand on down) please don't quote me as it is not yet final but you get the gist of it, I am sure many other things will be added as we get closer to the date.....well worth a few hours of your time to help raise money for care packages to go to our troops.

perfect timing....
street closes at 2PM, it normally takes about 1 hr to clear it and we plan on starting parking at 3:30pm and 3-3:30 is to get the vendors in...or at least that is the plan

Parking a one boat every 45 seconds or less and you think there's time to set. Make it a recliner (red) with a can holder. Not sure I need the stamp though. I was gonna bring my tattoo gun just to help people remember the event that much more.

Deleting posts doesn't do anything with regards to the bullshit that Spammit has pulled in the past. He's already starting to show his true colors on this board as well...

I still think having him any affiliation with the poker run is a mistake, but then again, we're not doing it this year anyway... Spammit being involved was just the icing on the cake.
