Looking at the latest lake levels, which are all now over 90 % full should be a good time for us AZ boaters.

Over the weekend I was talking to freinds and the wife about making a weekend trip to Rosie this year. Would love to run up Friday evening play Saterday and mosy home Sunday. Rosie sure is going to be a lot of lake to play on this year.  :good

Since I haven't been here for a while, I'll revive an old thread.  The Lower Salt River now stands at 96%.  Roosevelt is now at the highest point in history at 96% and the other lakes are at 97, the highest they will allow.  I talked to the guy that works for SRP at Stewart Mountain (Saguaro Lake) and he told me that they are going to start releasing water to allow for the runoff that is still to come when the snow starts to melt.  It's going to be a great summer around here...full lakes, fast flowing river.

That sounds awesome...!!  :good  :beer   I've always wanted to experience those waters...guess it won't get much better than this upcoming season... :cool

You whats funny, over here that all we hear is how the west coast lakes are all drying up and the end is near, they have to stop building, and folks have to stop moving to az,nv, and Global Warming is doing, one good winter and there full, funny how that works, so what is lake powell looking like, are the greenie going to get there way and drain it.

The runoff is supposed to raise Powell by 50 feet and open the Castle Rock cutoff.  50 feet isn't much though considering how low it is now.
