I really thought after the year that the Pack had, he'd be back for one more.  He played really well this year and I almost hate to see him go. Oh well, he gave us a good show, and it's probably best for him to hang up the cleats.  :beer

He is one of football's greats and it's sad to see him go after the season they just had.  At least he ended it on a high note.  There is now one less in the endangered species of classy players in the NFL.

I think he wanted to go out on a higher note too...albeit was somewhat unexpected this past season. It seemed a bit Cinderella like.
In his early years his play was very spotty, he was either the hero or the goat. He had a really good 3-4 yr stretch and of late it seemed he was the last player with heart on his team.

I think he is/was a good rolemodel for our youth and other NFL players :good

I think Brett looks older than he is (it's not always the age it's the mileage).  Didn't Warren Moon play well into his 40's?

They pressed him for an answer in March and he gave them one. He had been through quite a bit.
Now he's had time to rest and reflect. He checked the expiration date and he has some left.

I don't agree with the way they are putting him through the wringer now. It sucks. :(
