A friend had a 396 Chevelle. We decided to go to an industrial area to have a race. It was me first, him second and the cops third. We all managed to elude them.

Mine was a '72 Saab 99 that I lowered, rollcaged, upsized the motor, headers and dual sidedraft DCOE Webers. It was so unusual it got a lot of attention, pretty quick. It'd give 289's a run for the money. I always got the looks when the blue tire smoke came from the front wheelwells. I set it roadrace style, it handled like it was a slotcar. Smog laws here finally caused its demise

'56 Chevy 210 2 door. I took 3 cars my dad had in the yard to make one. Has a 265 v8 with the cast iron powerdrive. Reason I say has is because it is in CE's garage. It belongs to my dad now and needs a whole lot of work. Never will be a creame puff but could be a fun project and a cruiser.

Oh Contrair. There is dash chrome and airshocks(factory) from the BelAir that was used.
Is the 409 air cleaner housing still on it?

My first car was a '92 (am I showing my age here?), fire-engine red, Chevy Cavalier 4-door. It was nothing spectacular, but I was one of the few kids in my group of friends that got a car when I was 16. When I graduated high school, my parents bought me a mustang... Yes, I was spoiled, but I was also a good kid too though
