Thats nice you will be happy with it.

My work truck has that motor in it along with the Allison trans. I had to pull a trailer back from Virginia and it was sure was nice to have the power when you needed most!

That's real Purdy Mel....the level kit makes a big difference in its looks. I've always preferred the looks of a GMC over the Chevy.

You will love this truck!

Ours has 20K on it already! It goes up the hill to Pinetop without even downshifting, gets 18 to 20 MPG on the highway unloaded, and you can't even tell the boat is in back of you when you are loaded!

Actually I lucked out-- I work 5 miles from our house, so I get to drive it every day.  The best part is that he "gets" to drive it to the river (when I am sleeping!;) :laugh

No, we upgraded the wheels and tires when we got the leveling kit put on...

Nah, we didn't get leather.  Don't forget-- I live in Phoenix now.  Leather= burnt ass= no bueno.  We did the LT2 package and went with the charcoal (its actually a lightish grey-beige) interior.  The golden retriever hair should blend right in until I can get it vacuumed up!
