I've got 3 desktops, 2 laptops, and 3 printers all networked together.  Any computer can print to any printer. :good

This is the coolest thing I ever did:

One day, I came home from work in a big hurry to get an HDF Store order shipped out.  My home post office software is on a desktop, but the network's internet connection, which is required, was down. :break  As a quick and temporary solution, I went online with my laptop and a wireless card.  I, then, created an ad-hoc connection between the laptop and the desktop.  After I bridged those connections on the laptop, my desktop had an internet connection. :good

That's pretty cool... :good  :beer

At the school, there's HP Deskjets sittin' all over the place, costing us a fortune to print out b/w pages... :beat

By sharing across the school's domain, one small laserjet can service a classroom, the network color printers can handle a whole wing... :good

I've got some of the teacher's logging on at home and printing at school...job's there when they get there... :cool

Now, if someone would fill the PAPER once in awhile.. :rolleyes

We have a networked 2 terabyte drive. We can access hundreds of live Jimmy Buffett concerts from anywhere in the world there is internet access!  :good

(Also use the drive to sync with the laptop, so whatever work I do on the road is saved, and ready to go on the desktop at home when I get there in case something happens to the laptop......but thats secondary to the JB concerts!!  :jumpie  )

Used to have a slingbox where we could watch local cable anywhere with internet access too, but just didn't use it much.......

Negative Ghostrider...they have to use their own Internet connection, but can log into the SB Domain... :good

I've got many of them up on the school's server via a (virtual)shared drive...that way they have their files/desktop/etc. when they login... :cool

We did have a VPN Intranet at GenMills... :comp
