ProcraftKev,
We will be checking in on the 29th, look for us we will be in a White & Purple Donzi also staying at the Nautical Inn. We are staying through Monday. We are hoping it is a safe place to park a boat. It would be nice to find some others who were trustworthy to park with.

Quote (ICEMAN @ Aug. 11 2003,5:57 pm) | Im going to be there, leaving friday at noon.I will look you up when we get there. Nine days must be nice were leaving monday night. Bring your beer bong, ill have the cold ones. Â Â |
I have a new 1/2 case beer bong. I didn't build it, but I told the guy who did I have never seen with a hose large enough to hold 3 or 4 beers alone. It would get warm by the time I finished it off.

[QUOTE]LINUXMAN Its a pretty good place to park. we're staying in the new buildings. We have a tan daycruiser. Looking forward to drinking some beers with you. do you go to the sand bar or the channel? Â Â |
Procraft Kev,
To be honest I haven't been there is 10 years so I have no idea where to go. We will try a little of anything. I will PM you my cell number and Friday just ring me or whatever day you get there.

We are going to try to make it down to Parker at least one day maybe Saturday or Sunday. Can someone tell me or give me directions how to get from the Nautical Inn (I understand there is a boat dock right there) down to a boat dock at Parker with safe parking. Also remember we are putting in a Donzi ZX so the water has to get deep fast. Thanks, if we can figure the way down we will probably bring a southern hospitality beer for those we can find. Anyone willing to PM me a cell number I will exchange so we can make an attempt to get together. After a 30 hours drive one-way we will not be making the trip every weekend.

It looks like I'll be in Havasu over the holiday. We'll be hanging around the channel, and steamboat alley. The boat were in is yellow, black and white checker flag graphics, and a big green dragon. Can't miss it. See you there.

ProcraftKev,
I am counting as well, I have 5 before starting the long journey. My business partner and friend is in the gulf right now. He will be back just in time to go out there, it must be nice to take a week off and get 12 days of vacation.
I am looking forward to the trip and relaxing for 4 solid days.

Yes we are going to drive straight through, we estimate, barring any problems, 30 hours. And a bunch of fuel.

Newbie here planning a last minute trip to Havasu for Labor Day, but I must ask a few questions. First of all, should I even bother going to Havasu at the last minute like this without reservations? If so, where should I stay, launch PWCs from, etc.? I am certain there is someone else on this board who has done a last minute road trip to Havasu, so I would love to benefit from your experience!
Thanks to all!
