Saturday May 17th at Fantasy Springs Casino at 8 PM. About a 2 hour drive for you. go to there website to order tickets. Never been to that venue before. VIP tickets for only $105 a pair. :good
Damn I like Boston and Styx too.

Didja know that Michael Sweet, the STRYPER frontman will be touring with Boston?  Won't be the same without Brad Delp, IMO. :(

I saw Styx, REO Speedwagon and Journey in concert around 4-5 years ago.  It was.....interesting. :laugh  Journey was just one big long guitar solo.  :rolleyes  The lead singer for REO Speedwagon (I think it was Kevin Cronin) really needed to hang it up...he was straining his voice so much it was painful to listen to.  Styx was by far the best, with only Tommy Shaw and JY Young as original members.  They had a very young guitarist who was phenomenal...he spent much of the time in the audience and not just in the lower sections.  The crowd watching was as entertaining as the concert...there are a lot of people still stuck in the 80s. :laugh

Absolutely no chance of that. Your gonna love this. Small beers looked like a large shot glass, only $8.00. The large was a full 12 ounces, at only $12.00 bucks each. I bitch and moan about $5, $6, and $7 dollar beers. I didn't even have one. I'm guessing that there was a huge fuel surcharge involved.

Show was great, all 2 1/2 hours of it. First time ever there. Very small place and not a bad seat in the house. Would love to go see them tonight but there in Denver CO. Even the wife loved it and she's not a rocker. Wife even bought one of their tees. I bought the newest CD which isn't even out yet. They haven't listed dates for Summer tour yet, but I'm sure they'll do Phoenix too. Warm up band to be Blues Traveler, who ever that is.

He did awesome! :good  Michael Sweet (Stryper) sang a few songs too, but the new guy sounded just like Brad Delp.  Also, the singer for the songs that Dennis DeYoung originally sang in Styx sounded exactly like him as well.  I had to convince one of the guys with us that it was NOT really him. :laugh
