Yep, we're lookin'.... :jumpie   The wife is on-board, which totally threw me a curve... :eek  :good

Thinking condo vs house, less maintenance, security issues, etc.  Got enough banked to make it happen, just need the right opportunity... :cool

Opinions welcome....where are the "deals".... :stupid

This split-up duplex looks decent enough for <$150k...

That duplex looks pretty good and not bad for the price!

I like the two garages thats a big plus if I was looking! :good

Hey Shue, check this out....it's listed for $169,900, but it's bank owned and only been on the market for about six days.  Three bedrooms, two baths, three car garage (says 28' deep, I'm guessing only one bay, the others are probably 20' ), and lots of tile.  Let me know if you want more info.

I would go with a single family over a condo, just for the re-sale if nothing else.  You're also gonna find a bigger garage in a single family.  The home that I just posted is an awesome deal, most of them in this price range are two bedroom, two car garages.

One more, Shue.  This one was originally listed at $350,000....now $209,000 (this is a short-sale).  Again the house is 3bd/2bth, 3 car garage (one bay is 43' ), and lots of room to park beside the house, home was built in 2003.

My rental landlord has a sweet deal in her 6-unit complex:
3bd/2ba, upstairs unit, full balcony in front, 2 patios in rear that overlook Thompson Bay, fully furnished, sunken tub in master, 1 car garage.  It's down off of Mulberry and snowbird's for $1700/mo.  Seller wants $159k.

Gotta decide, house or condo....think I'll surf the LHAR a bit this week-end... :cool
