Leaving Friday night for Martinez until Monday. Should be a good time. I just hope it's not too crazy. I hate all of the fights and shenanigans that come with the holiday weekend crowds.

Staying where it's safe, At Home!! Will do some yard work that needs to be done. Work on the boat, Truck and try to get some rest  , Yea Right!! Something will come up that I'll have to do that will take the resting time.

Definitely NOT goin' to Havasu or the River! Made that mistake a many years back, before it got crowded and stupid; never again! Gotta make a semi- kamikaze run to the Clark County Recorder's Office in Vegas. Seems that all these years da gig and mrsgig weren't married! Wait a minute! What am I thinkin'? I'm free(again), still white, and older than 21! I'm goin' to the River!  Seriously; have to go and get a certified copy of our marriage certificate by the end of next week (which they could not guarentee by mail) for mrsgig's medical insurance. After 14 years with 'em, out of nowhere, our copy isn't certified, thus not good enough for the school district and their insurance peops! What a crock o'$hit! Sooooo, makin' semi- kamikaze run Thu. PM, gettin' the copy Fri. AM, then on over to mrsgig's sister and brother-in-law's in Overton, then back Sun. AM, hopefully before any MAJOR traffic.  Dreamin' on that one methinx!

They found a mistake or oversite from 14 years ago and are making you jump thru hoops because they can't wait a day or two for the mail. I know exactly what I'd tell them to do.

Actually, da gig and mrsgig are partly to blame for this fiasco. They're changin' insurance carriers and we waited just a tad too long to get the paperwork to 'em, thinkin' that all was well since it had been 14 years. Could be worse. Have no idea how, but it could be!

Stayin local this weekend. Maybe I might get the boat wet and go to Catalina or cruise around in Long Beach . Depends on the weather and the honey-do list I might have.
