I don't mean to bring up an old, ugly subject but I know there were contamination issues on the lake last year and a few years ago.
I haven't heard anything recently so I assume it's cleared up. Where were the issues isolated to and has there been any reports recently? Also, was it accurate or was it blown out of proportion like alot of media "events"?

I was talking about the contamination of water on some of the beaches, not the mussels.

That's what I figured. They've had to close beaches in the past, I think in town due to contaminated water. Made for a big news story in Phoenix and other places, but I suspect, while serious and I know that there were some tragedies, it may have been a bit blown out of proportion by the media.
I haven't heard anything recently and I know that LHC has been working on sewer systems for quite some time. I think the problem was related to leaking septic systems with the growth of LHC.
