As ya know my B-Day is coming up..   As ya know it is mandatory that we party like Rock Stars on the B-Day..

What do ya think I should do this year to make it better/different then last years?

I've already got Kwicherbichens bikini team in the works to hand out jello shots... but as they say I ain't counting my chickens before there hatched.

I'm thinking of trying to either rent out the upstairs of RoadRunner or Sundance on Saturday night... but I wonder if it's worth the $$$$ for a place that we normally frequent for free.  ???

What do you think??   Should I try n go balls to the walls on the party,  or cancel do to lack of interest?

I dont think it would be a lack of intrest at all. My  concern as I said in the op6 site, is having op6c-6, 2 weeks after your b-day. Its going to be kind of tough for me to make both events. I can probably pull it off if I pay for one of the trips with plastic $, but I dont want to do that so close to xmas.

I would hold off on renting anything at this point. There is nothing like renting a spot that can hold 100 peeps and only have 10-20 show up. :confused

Supposed to have some kind of work/lake deal that weekend.  I also need to address the carb issues I'm having (as in not enough carb) and jet up a bunch so I don't burn a piston.  We'll see what happens.  I'm single that weekend so who knows.   :good  :beer

As far as which thing to go to... That's up to you.  I know this next OP6 is going to be more "laid back"  just kinda hanging out with cool peeps orientated..  Where as my B-Day party is going to be more "Party it Up"  kind of an atmosphere so it's really which ever you prefer.

I picked the "theme" for the party this morning, and the graphics are underway for the online flyer's etc..  

I'm going "Mexican" (In honor of Scuba Steve of course. ;) )  which means at this years B-Day bash it's nothing but

Corona's
Pacifico's
Tecates
Margaritas
etc... etc...  

Of course I'll have the usual unlimited supply of beer at the house for everyone etc... ;)

RD, I'll help in any way I can for the bash.  If I absolutely had to pick between OP6-VI and the RD B-Day Bash, I would pick the B-Day.  I had a GREAT time last year. :good  That's how I really got my start meeting everyone too.  I've been looking forward to this since last October. :D
