Just wondering what boats you are finding work the best in the heavy boat chop on Lake Havasu (on a busy Saturday afternoon). I thought my 25' Nordic Rage would be OK but I am thinking now I need something bigger. What are the Cats like (F29, F32) in the chop? How about the waves that keep slapping you from the side on the river? Any and all opinions are welcome. I am from Canada and only get down a few times a year and am still learning every trip. Thanks.

Yeah, it's pretty bad when a boat has to come to a complete stop to turn around!. :eek  :rolleyes I can remember not all that long ago when a 22' Shiada was huge, now it may as well be a canoe!.. :rolleyes  :laugh

Anything that will get you "on top" of the water 'cause ya damn sure aren't gonna ride through that crap!.....and to think that da gig used to cuss @ the "big" Campbell daycruisers that were; what? 24 footers @ their biggest! Geezus da gig misses the good ol' days when boats were "boats" and the "ships" were left in the oceans! When and where does it end?  :(

Out of all the rules and reg's in the channel, I believe it might have been the only one inforced too. I still can't understand why they were so carefree about everything. It was pretty wild. Party Heat wasn't filming, maybe an answer.

I'll bet that I counted at least 50 big boys that cruised thru at 10 to 15 mph leaving a wake big enough to surf on behind. Funny to hear a few hundred people all at once screaming Slow Down as the beached boats slamed into the new seawall and each other.
