Quote (MooseKnuckle @ July 30 2008,7:33 pm) | Newbie from Michigan. Â Found this site tonight.
Been wanting to experience Lake Havasu for many years. Â Got a crew that is interesting in going out there next year with me. Â Thinking about having boat hauled out for the 2000 mile trip and then we would fly in for 10 days of fun and sun sometime late April early May (that's cold weather boating up here time).
Trying to decide if it would be worth the hassle of bringing boat or renting. Â Also, what are the marina's like for transit boaters? Â Would you stay at a marina or find a place to stay on the hook?
Thanks for your input.

Good time to come really. Water still a bit chilly(by my standards ) Havasu has basically 3 public choices for launching, the Marina, Site6(free but steep and slick), and the State park ramps known as Windsor. If you reserve a room at the Nautical Inn I believe you can use their private ramp, its gravel but no lines. Welcome to Dougs site btw
Ain't life Grand? Treat it that way. The Love of my Life, Jan.
