I just called my friend Debbie to see if she is getting her new Shockwave today. Said she was setting in it right now going over the boat orientation with them. Man does she sound excited. Leaving for Havasu in the AM. Now that she's found out the best day of owning a boat, should I tell her about the second best day?

Newbies might be a over statement. Their total boating knowledge has come from Party Heat and a couple of demo rides. I did make her insure it last week though.

Ran out of patience helping her on buying a boat. They don't make fenders big enough so I'm going to borrow the big jumbo ones that Sea Tow uses for salvage operations. :good

They say the second best day is when you sell your boat.  I think that's B.S.  I hated getting rid of my first boat.  If it were up to me I'd have three or four boats.  One for every occasion.  Skiing, wakeboarding, barefooting and haulin' ass.

My friends just called to inform me that they're on the way to Havasu Springs. Be launching in the AM. Had to remind them to put gas in the boat before they launched.

Our first boat was a Searay 175 with the 4 banger and an Alpha drive. Cool boat and great boat to start with. Then we steped up to the Sundeck we have now. DOn't miss the 175 but would highly recomend it for someoen starting out.

Like sean, I would like to have a play boat that would be for those days I didn't want or need the luxury of the sea ray. Like having a family car and having a sports car to play with.  :good   :D
