As some of you know, I went to Legoland a couple weeks ago when my niece and nephew were out visiting.  While the rides are short, they are quite fun.  But what I liked best was Miniland...all the cities and famous places made out of Legos.  I am completely Lego impaired, so the detail and effort truly impressed me.  I thought I'd share a few pics.

The band...

Washington D.C.  the Capitol

Sydney Opera House (I've been to the real one! )

Loved the water squirting from his trunk.

Gee Cali, you literally are in my backyard(~1mile birdflight) and I get no message :beat . I had free tix to get in, its been a handful of years since I've gone.
Miniland always fascinated me too. Attention to Detail is awesome. Always fun to watch the kids play and learn.
.
My son worked there when it first opened, my daughter is almost of age to get a job there.

Awwww man, Zig....I didn't know. :(

I'd love to go again, I'm sure there are tons of details that I missed.  We just missed the opening of the new aquarium....I think I'd like to work there!  Got any connections? :D

No connections, they hire a ton of the local kids though.
