I've never been to the fair...at least I don't think I have. :stupid   I went to the Pomona Fair....once.  I've never even been to the state fair.  It was so hot here last week that they were offering $5 admission before 5pm and free parking. :laugh

I think I'll stick to the Asparagus Festival. :good

Well there ya go! :laugh   I guess that makes sense..but up here every place has a fair so I guess I just made the assumption that the Pomona Fair was different that the actual county fair.

Heck, it was about 33 years ago...so I have an excuse for not knowing. :D  :laugh  :laugh

And the only reason why I remember it at all is because I got a pin that had Porky Pig on it that said Pomona Fair or something to that effect.  I have no clue why I remember THAT. :rolleyes  :stupid

I think I'd like to go to the fair for the wine tasting. :good

Okay, now I'm sad...looked at the winners for wine...nothing for the winery I used to work for. :(   I find that hard to believe, unless they didn't enter anything.  Other local wineries did pretty well.  We've always medaled...usually gold.  Maybe things aren't so rosy at the winery.

Yeah it is. Most of the ballooning is done pretty early before everybody gets wasted though. And they do supply a DD just in case. :beer
