Figured I'd post up and let ya's know how good you have it down south in the warm weather.  These pics were taken last saturday 11-15-08








Here's one of the Mrs.  She went into the water past her waders when launching the boat.  Not a good idea when it's 24 degrees out.  At least she had about 10 layers of clothes on.  Note the waders off and sitting in front of heater :rotflmao  :rotflmao

Think i need a windshield for this boat.  Gets awful cold on the face when driving.  Everyone else turns their heads, but I can't unless I want to put the boat back on the shore prematurely :D  :D   Luckily this boat tops out at 40mph (According to the onboard GPS) but it gets interesting when it's below freezing and you're doing 40 and the Depth Finder starts beeping suddenly telling me I'm in 1 foot deep water.  :eek  :eek   Yep, I've hit a few sandbars and have taken out a few props :rolleyes  :rolleyes  :rolleyes

It's not so bad if ya dress for it.  Lotsa clothes and handwarmers.  We go out every weekend until the boat launches freeze over :eek   Once they freeze over, I'm done!  Already had that experience 2 years ago trying to get my boat out of the water, but when I hit the brakes on the truck while backing down the ramp.....I kept going.  Truck got a little EXTRA wet that day and I won't go near a ramp anymore if it has ice on it :rotflmao  :rotflmao

Yeah, she was cold that's for sure.  I think the look on her face though was because if you look close, you can see our 21 year old son standing just past her on the bow of the boat.  He drank too much coffee and had to empty it :rotflmao  :rotflmao  :rotflmao   Lazy SOB had 1600 gram Thinsulate Chest waders on and he wouldn't step out onto shore and go find a bush or something :rotflmao  :rotflmao
