Happy Turkey Day everyone!  Hope you all are doing well, and don't overdo it tomorrow. ;)

I'm doing my traveling tomorrow, figured that would be the best day for the long drive.  Now if I can avoid any mudslides south of the Grapevine...they're STILL working on the stretch near Templin Hwy and those slides were several years ago. :rolleyes   It won't be the traditional Thanksgiving at our house since all the turkey dinner pots and pans are packed up, but we'll make do.

I'm thankful for all the friendships I've made here.  I haven't forgotten you...it's just been crazy these last couple months.  I think about you often though. :good  :grouphug

Awww Gig....you just warm my heart! :love  :grouphug   Thank you so much for your generous offer, but not to worry.  Mom bought a couple turkey breasts (gotta have enough for sammiches) and we'll have some of the traditional sides and a half homemade punkin pie.  Mom can't make her yummy piecrust since the rolling pin is packed in a box somewhere so she bought a ready made crust.  No one makes better crust than my mom, but at least it's punkin pie!  i think we still have enough pots and pans out to make it all work.  It will be the last turkey day in this house, and the smallest amount of people yet.  Just the 3 of us and my aunt.    Then hopefully I will finally get them moved on Dec 13, as long as this sale doesn't fall through. :rolleyes

Ooops, almost forgot to put the wine in the car! :eek   Better go do that. :D
