You know last night it was 15* outside And when I got back from my run I started up my pick-up truck and let it warm up for a half hour while I was fueling my big rig and doing paper work, this morning I'm warming my wife's truck up so she can go, been running for 20 min. I don't think any of these greenie wheenie's live in any cold places, F them I wish I can get some Global Warming over here in ohio.
Was watching a show last night with the celebs and they were talking about what YOU should do to save the world and one said not to run your can foolishly as her limo is running outside staying warm in the California winter night. LOL Sorry had to rant this mornning.

I usually tell the driver to shut the limo off if I'm going to be more than 10 minutes. But if it's very warm outside I'll make an exception so that the A/C can stay on.  :D

Thats funny! I was watching Fox news one evening and one of the reporters caught up with Tipper and one of her daughters shopping at a mall with the limo parked outside running to keep it cool :pissed

Don't go out in the cold, no problem. Only time heat was a problem, was in Havi after a day of boating. Taught the wife how to back the trailer up, no more problem. Told her it was easier than parking in a slip and getting it myself.

I go out every morning and run the Mrs truck to warm it up for her, and use my remote start for my truck :D   I'll let them run for 30-45 minutes.....
Kinda nice doing it that way when it's cold.  Forget those tree huggers, I'm in it for the comfort.  Especially when I see our weather forecast calling for Highs in the teens and lows in the single digits :cold

My wifes truck has a remote start.  But, it sits in the garage were it's warm.

The remote start is nice at the lake when its 100 degrees.  We can start it and cool the interior down before we get in it to load the boat.

Been working on that idea for 10 years now. Only details I can release currently is that ice is cheap. Pretty sure I've got one that is close to ready. So as ice gets to $50-$60 per pound I'll be able to market it.

The house I'm looking at and hoping will still be available next year (it's been off and on the market for the last 18 months) has radient floor heat, heated sidewalk and driveway.

As far as house heater, maybe I'll get lucky next time.  Our house now doesn't have a heater.  100% wood heat.

BTW, they don't make electric blankets like they used to.  :pissed
