I always though the best place to sell a portion of a busness is to advertise on Craigs List.

I'm gonna call them and ask whats the lowest they'll take. Hell, with a ROI of 200% in two years, I can't believe it hasn't sold already. |
Ask to see their books... That's a helluva return in today's economy...

First off, DON'T SHOOT THE MESSENGER!!!
I do not work for HotBoat but have recently been asked to help with the message boards as there is no one left to do so.
HotBoat is no longer in publication under the current, or past ownership. The print magazine has been completely shut down. The company now resides with a law firm and is in the process of negotiation with a new potential buyer.
I do not have any information regarding subscriptions or advertising in relation to either the print magazine or this site.
I am sorry if some of you have current subscriptions that will not be filled or refunded. I do not know what the outcome of that will be, if any.
I have been told that this website will be shutting down very shortly with no notice, other than this post.
I too have enjoyed HotBoat for many years and am sad that it has come to this.
I just wanted to post up this information as many of you have had questions. Unfortunately this is all of the information I have been given about the matter. If I hear anything else, or the information changes, I will let you know.
