Am in the market for a fire/water proof safe or cabinet. Googled for info and got only so much print and they all look good on paper. Anybody have any experiences or recommendations on a good product for anything in the $500 or under range? Nothing big. Just want it for birth certificates, marriage licenses, insurance documents, and the such. Thanx in advance.

I just put a call in to my Son-in-law the Locksmith. He does a fair amount of safe installations.....

...that was him returning my call. He'll check some info at his shop and call back with suggestions.  :good

Did you ask your bank for a free Safe Deposit box?....if you have much of any balance they'll generally give it to you....or its a nominal fee for a year, like between $20-90 a year depending on size.

Gonna guess about 8 wide, about 6 tall, and 16 to 18 deep. I do get a discount because I let them hold my money.
