Might make it a bit easier on them....just drop anchor at the end of the channel and have a breathalyzer on each side of the boat!  :drink  :beat

Drove through there the last time we were at the River Shack.  Lots of changes. The bar looks real nice from the outside.  :good

Park Moabi is still there, operated by the SB County Parks.  This area, I guess, is the concessaire area... :stupid  pretty ambitious project, in these times... :eek

Hope the new operators got a "good deal"...like a long-term lease or DEED on the land... :beat  Guess it's time for a Road Trip to check things out... :beer

The Moabi inlet has become a favorite "mini sandbar" for boaters over the last 4-5 years...gets a LEO drive-by every now and then...stays pretty mellow, for the most part.

Then I plug in my 12v electric blanket and take the kids out skiing and boarding!  :eek

I love to watch them standing on the swim-step shivering while I stand at the bow with a nice warm towel...extorting their wipe-down services in exchange for the towel!  :laugh

Sounds like an interesting development, would be cool to know how they ran the financials and ownership/lease agreements. Sounds a bit pricey to start out with but ya never know what the demand will be for something like that. Great area though in the summer....away from the Havasu madness, but close enough to commute to it!!
