We went to Knotts yesterday with my daughter and one of her friends(spring break week for them).
Never saw them all day til they got hungry :laugh
We rode most of the rides but I just couldn't get myself to ride the Xcellerator or Extreme Scream tower.
The new coaster ride where the car spins(kinda like the teacups) as it goes around the track is pretty interesting for sure. Going over and around the track backwards/sideways is a wired feeling.
All in all a great day, good weather and extremely short lines.....nothing took longer than 15-20 minutes to get on, most we walked right to the gates. Being spring break time I figured it would be way busier.
I knew we had rain forecast for later in the day but it held off. It got cloudy around 6pm but never got wet.
Very fun day.

Legoland is just a couple miles from my house. We took the grandkids to Sealife aquarium next door. Its a great little place totally geared towards kids. Guess that's why I liked it too :laugh

I'll stick to Camp Snoopy!

The way my kids keep popping out grandkids, it's the only part of the park I see.  :D

The little ones are the most fun to go to the park with...they get so damn excited on the small rides.

Then they go and grow into teens and spoil things... :rolleyes

Zigmeister; did ya get the video of y'all on the "spinnin' tea cup" coaster (can't remember the name of it either)? We went last fall and the mrsgig and the Daughter rode it and we purchased the vid. Hilarious! Amazin' the faces they made w/o even realizin' it. :good :p

And you're right GMan The Granddaughter was an absolute blast to watch! :good

And I never met a chicken dinner I didn't like shue! Hell; there hasn't been too much food that I've met that I didn't like! And it shows! :good  :(

FYI. In case some of you don't know it, Knott's offers a 1/2 off ticket after 4PM. Doesn't sound like it gives you a lot of time, but it turned out to be "perfect". Got to see and do most everything we wanted to w/o wearin' ourselves out from a long day of walkin' around. :good

No video and the picture was rather, well, boring.....I looked like I was on a Sunday cruise in the ragtop :laugh
I did, however get a good laugh as my coaster passed overtop the people standing in line.....I made a loud and obnoxious barf noise :puke . I estimate about a dozen folks turned and looked in horror. :laugh LOL, even at my age I still like to act like a kid.
.
.
Albertsons has discount tickets at their registers knocking $20 of Knotts admission, almost half price.
.
.
I also drove by my old house when we left. Accross from the mall sorta adjacent to where the Circuit City bldg stands. Man :stupid , I damn sure don't recall the streets being so narrow growing up. Old hood look nice and tidy though. :good
