I just found this website and found my local Tax Day Tea Party.  I am going for sure!  Time to take America BACK!!!  This is NOT a Republican/Democrat/Independent/etc deal.  It is a Grassroots movement for people like me that have had enough of the Out of control spending and forever increasing taxes.  Everyone is welcome to them and they are scheduled all across the country near you.  Check this website out and find your local gathering  http://taxdayteaparty.com/
In the past, I have just sat on the fence and bitched about things I didn't like.  I have always voted but that don't always work out the way I want it to.  It's time to make my voice heard!

If anyone else is tired of the tax and spend policies of Washington (All Politicians) get up off the fence and make your voice heard this wednesday!!  Or quit bitching about it :D  :D

I've been planning on going for a few weeks now. Was going to attend the event in the LA area at 1pm. But as luck would have it, I am now busy on Wed and can't leave work early enough.

Now I'm planning on hitting an event in Yorba Linda which is at 4pm, if I can get out of work on time.

Well, i don't have to worry about paying income taxes....I don't make any money :rolleyes  :angry

But everyone still has to pay the taxes on everything else that you buy, that you need to survive.....and THOSE taxes are going through the roof right now :angry  :angry

Obama said he wasn't going to raise taxes on 97% of Americans....I beg to differ.  He might not have raised the INCOME taxes (yet) but he HAS already raised the TAXES on 100% of Americans anytime you buy anything.

In that respect, I will be at the Tax Day Tea Party, and people will hear (and feel) my anger :pissed  :pissed  :pissed  :pissed  :pissed

TEA party protesters set to march across bridge
By Jayne Hanson
A national protest against government spending will be demonstrated locally Wednesday afternoon when residents of Lake Havasu City and surrounding areas march across the London Bridge.

The National TEA (Taxed Enough Already) Party Day will be demonstrated in communities all over the U.S. on Wednesday, which is tax day. The local TEA party in Lake Havasu City is organized and sponsored by the Mohave County GOP District 3. LaJuana Gillete is the local protest organizer and is director of the district.

Yes, but a movement needs to start somewhere. If ignored by the gov, these revolts might turn into a wide spread boycot against paying taxes.

Besides, consumer sales are still down. So in a small way people are already boycot'ing by not buying things they may not have thought twice about not so long ago.

Consumer sales are also slightly off because 7 million people have lost there jobs and that number is increasing by 6 to 700,000 per month with no stop in site. :cry

Gotta go with Art on this. Tomorrow will be nothing but a symbolic jester with nobody listening. Per haps it will build over the next year and nobody will file taxes. Got a late start to make any effect this year. And protests of any kind usally have no effect on any thing. "Actions speak loader than words."

Just remember, in case you get interviewed by the media.

You are registered Democrat and voted for Obama. Pass the word so they stop with saying it's only republicans protesting.

If you want, you can throw in...
I'm not real happy that my mortgage has gone unpayed and I had to fill my own tank to get here. So I can't understand why we need to pay more taxes. DUH!
