I'm a Dodger fan.....no bones about it. I love baseball in general, but I enjoy watching the Dodgers....though not the drama.

Just when I thought all the drama about signing Manny was behind them and they settled down to winning games this has to happen.

50 games.

I'm taking the fam to Dodger stadium Sunday for Mother's Day....but the big Mother won't be in left field.

jeesh....what's next?  :stupid

how stupid.

I hope Eithier is clean.  :(

What a shame.....I say the Dodgers ought to drop him from the team for breach of contract.  :beat  :beat   If you live in a glass house you better be more careful with your personal buisness.

YOU crack me up Gig...

Not only do the Dodgers have the best record in Major League Baseball right now, but if you've been too busy watching the Angels LOSE to Toronto 13 - 1 last night, and dwell near the bottom of the AL West at 12 wins, 14 losses, the Dodgers broke the modern major league record for a home winning streak to open a season with their 13th consecutive victory last night.

here's your hee hee hee   :D  :D  :D

More is coming out about the "Drug" he tested positive for...

...now it's a kinda understandable that he didn't elaborate  :laugh

A source close to Manny Ramirez(notes) said Thursday that the illegal substance for which the Los Angeles Dodgers slugger tested positive was not “an agent customarily used for performance enhancing.”

At least not on the baseball diamond
...

....the drug was prescribed to address Ramirez’s erectile dysfunction.

:eek

And that was worth the close to $8 million in lost wages??  :stupid

Not to mention the impact on the team.....it's one thing to want to F the wife, but the entire team!  :beat

7.7 million in lost wages. Hell, that's only $154,000 per game. How is he and the family gonna survive on the remaining 17.3 million this year. Good thing under CA laws he's ellegable for unemployment, food stamps, and many other programs including health care for free drugs.

Yes it is! The hose on Mr. Showerhead is just "thaaaaat much" too short! :eek

He's the only one stayin'! Hell; he's the only one there! :good

And Susan Boyle IS Mick Jagger! Why do you think that you've seen them "together"?

And I'm not a Dogger fan by the furthest reach; but let's all cut Manny some slack. The boy ain't too bright. He makes more money in a year than most states have projected in their budgets for the next ten years; and the boy can't "buy some 'wood'"?:stupid  :p

Where's your sense of humor.....?  :D

They're both big California boys, both born in Northridge, went to Cal schools, bat just about as equally bad and should match up nicely on the mound.

Besides, Jared's about the best pitcher the Angels have right now. The only guy on the roster with a lower ERA only has 8 innings under his belt compared to Weaver's 40+.

yeah, I watch Angel baseball too.  :D

Well, truth be told, I watch the Dodgers too. My Grandson plays for the Dodgers in the Moreno Valley Little League Farm Division and they're doin' better than your Doggers. Well; they look better than your Doggers. 10-4 with 4 games to go. :good

You guys got the other Weaver? I'm sorry. :p

Saunders isn't doin' what he did last year but he's not doin' that bad. The other starters, save for Oliver, are of AA-quality at best. Let's not even talk about our bullpen; or should I say bull"$hit"pen? They've already lost more games after leadin' in the 7th than they did all last year. And they just keep makin' the same mistakes. Pro ball (of any kind) can be a joke sometimes. If my players (when I coached) played or threw like some of these prissy-a$$es, they'd be eatin' up a $hitload of benchtime! :angry
