My buddy 's been telling me things have slowed way down over in the flatbed area, and the other day he deadheaded home from PA. well they said they could not find any freight for the week, so he's been sitting and last week same thing as thhe weeks before, well his bank called him and are now forclosing on his house and my other buddy that drives flatbed for the same company just got a notice Friday will be his last run and they don't know what going to happen, so now their both just about out of a job, his boss told them to hang in there well just keep trying to find something for ya but there like OK I can't pay my bills on $400 a week. And the owner just took a week to go to Fla. golfing. Got to love it.
Og by the way they Haul??? STEAL you know the stuff we use to build stuff will, Like cars. When's it going to stop.

Oh look around, I saw flatbed truck running all over the place M/T In fact a few weeks ago I saw 6 M/T flatbed for the same company my buddy use to work for, so I called out on the CB and said you can't make money running M/T and they said your right but there is no freight out here anymore.

The only freight moving right now is food. Boy am I lucky right now.

Jeff and I were talking this morning that they're going to make it "patriotic" to buy GM. What will that do to Ford? He said we're not going to buy any GM products anymore (I've always been a Chevy girl) we'll have to buy Fords.  I told him "F-that! My next car is a VW!  I've had my eye on the touareg for a long time.  He just laughed. I'm not going to let him talk me into another Ford product since this truck has been such a POS.

Also, the headline in my paper reads "GM to roll out smaller vehicles." That's how they're going to force us into smaller vehicles.  Gov't takes over the car companies and then makes only what THEY want us to buy.  Freedom of choice is gone.

Hell in a handbasket, I tell ya.

You know I just got done doing another project this weekend, well started it anyway, But How the heck am I going to get 3 4x8 plywood 13 boxes of tile that weigh in at about 500lbs and all the other junk I needed into a smartcar. This guy is a ass clown.

Oh As for all the Global Warming people, I saw one the other day going down the feeway in a put-put doing maybe 50 to 55mph with bumper sticker all over the back saying save the planet and global warming this and that, It was cold and raining like crazy, so I few by at 70mph right on the dotted line and then cut her off, I don't care let her go hug a tree in the ditch, wacko's!!!!!!!!
