IE sucks though, it's good for booting the home page out, or for locking up on start!..

Topic Focker: Internet Poster on forum or board that has a real fun time Fockin Topics
I have editted some reg's back in the day, but only using written instruction. I seem to remember being as nervous as a long tailed cat in a room full of old men in rocking chairs. Â Â |
Go to Run/msconfig and you'll probably find it in startup!..
It's fun playing with the registry, just back it up first!..

Been using Firefox about a month now and like it so far. IE7 is OK but can be a pain. If you want your world realy rocked. Upgrade your Office to 2007. That REALY suckes BIG time!!! We went to office 2007 at work and it is a real pain in the A$$ to figuer out where everything is that you used to use.

Office 2007 has a complete new look to it. It still functions the same if you can find the comands to edit your word doc or excel. All the command ICONS have changed. It totaly jacked up one my access program/files that it took me an hour to finaly get what I needed it to do that normaly I can do in a matter of minutes depending on the file size I'm working with.

I hate when they do that $hit, Quicken does the same thing, why can't they just upgrade without changing everything around!..

I went through that learning curve when it first came out....used to it now. Like anything else, you'll get used to it.
Art, don't confuse Office 2007 with Windows 7.
I've been beta testing Ultimate 7 for a while now and it's been pretty darn good. Â
It will be out in Oct I think. Anyone buying Vista Ultimate or a machine downgraded to XP Pro between now and when 7 releases is supposed to get a free upgrade to 7.
As for IE 8 - it sucks like a Hoover on steroids!
I've started switching machines to FireFox and Chrome. I think Mozilla may end up on all the machines. |
Oh, I don't have them confused, I was going to try Windows 7 but all the crap I been reading about it and it's issues I just said screw it, I'll wait for the final release and see what the feedback is on it!.. How is it compared to XP, is it worth the upgrade??..
I think you'll be happy with Mozilla, I've had it on all my machines for close to a year now and just put it on the laptops and it's been trouble free, no issues whatsoever!..
Oh, I like Thundirbird for e-mail, no issues there either!..
