Cops and Rodder’s Bar and Grill
are sorry to announce
that we will be closing our doors as of
July 24th .

It is with great sadness that we make this announcement. In these tough economic times we were unable to come to terms with our lease renewal.

We, here at Cops and Rodder’s have enjoyed serving all of you. Many of you have become members of our family and we will miss you all very much.

We would like to thank all of you for the great support and kind words shared in person and as “Orchids” in the newspaper. We would especially like to thank the following people and groups for their wonderful support.

Golden Corral has raised the rates for seniors. seniors are 65+ there to start with. $1 dollar off. That means with the meal at reg. price, you get 1/2 off a soda. :stupid

To say in the least. I don't know how he made it though the winter. We always go about 5 PM on sunday's. The place was empty. Ouch.

I actually did a couple hours research on this just last night. Seems like national doesn't offer any discounts ever. All done on a local level, store by store. i.e., he could charge anything he want's or run any specails he wants for his store. BTW, lots of marketing people are availible for consultation, but there job is to get more $$ into the home office. Their job depends on it.

That's correct they do. But if he offers a discount for even $2 off, that's like 20% off the top. Expenses don't go down too. My best guess right now is about 17-18% fran fees plus 5-8% add fees. That's a huge number. :eek
