Personaly, I would leave it as it is and clean it up. I think removing the grafix's would be a total shame on this one.

My boy is about to put his 69 Kindsvater up for sale....a rare OB model of which ol' Kindsvater only built about 75.

He is dreading having to sell it but its just one of those things. I got it for him as a HS graduation present in 2001.
It needs someone that'll give it some nice TLC.
