I'm all over this with my Suburban :good

I've been following it on Twitter and there are all kinds of things going on to try and screw it up. dealerships are even having seminars. But some are working scams also.

I've got a gas guzzler in the back that I'd love to dump off. I have to get it re smoged registered, and insure it for a year to even qualify it.
With all the others, I'm gonna need a 3/4 ton Chevy that gets 30 MPG.
Can't even wait to see how different dealers handle this, should be intertaining. Seems like most people driving many cars that qualify for the program can't afford a new car even with the $4500 credit. And of course many won't be able to get qualified for a loan either.

Sale price limit is $45000. You can anything you want as long as it gets I think 3 mpg's more than your trade. And the dealers don't get to keep them they must be crushed with the drive train intact. If I'm doing it wheels, tires, and stereo. are stayin with me :cool I roll up to the dealer with whatever junkyard rims I can find :eek  :laugh

A half ton would do it with an equilzer hitch and brakes on the trailer I would think. But once you get a decent truck with the 5.3 liter and some bells and whistle your back to almost 30g's minus the rebate your still at 25 large :banghead
