Desert Racers are nuts, fun to ride in the desert, but 100 + mph no thanks. Kick ass movie though. I remember going to the theater with my dad back when On Any Sunday came out around 1970, right after that I was racing MX

Last I heard on the movie, is it was bought buy a film company. This is good news for us, as they have the funding to put it on the screen for us. I last heard that it was to be show at the Baja 500 or 1000 (not sure which) in Nov in ........Me-hee-co. I think it goes out for public showing after that. Check Off-road.com for the details.....or look up Dust To Glory on Google.
