Just got this from Idaho...
From the owner:
This boat belonged to a friend of mine and when she was young they used it as a lake race boat while towing a skier on Lake Tahoe. In the early 90's, I worked for her training horses and the boat was parked in a big shop. They pulled the motor and had it rebuilt - exactly what I don't know and she doesn't remember. They put it mostly back together and then put it in storage. Right before it went into storage, I called my dad out to see it as he's really the boat guy in the family. He made her an offer that day but she wouldn't sell. Fast forward almost 20 years later- She mentions to me that she still has the boat and would my dad be interested? He's says yes so we drive out to a run down storage facility in the middle of winter to check it out. Other than dust and deflated trailer tires....same old boat. So he bought it. We spent the winter draining fluid and putting it back together (I think it was 2012). Come spring, it literally fired right up! We had it on the water a handful of times, blew the old supercharger, had to have one custom built to fix it.... This year we skied mostly on the river which is a short, narrow, rocky place and it just isn't the right fit. We have tons of compliments, it's as clean as you can get with an original - the trailer doesn't even have rock chips. Sounds great, runs great, etc. It's not the boat the "corvette" guy is going to buy, more like the style a guy with an early 70's Challenger is going to buy, especially the type that drives his car, as opposed to just showing it It's not too often you find a clean, 2 owner that is almost 40 years old and always been stored inside. I can look into the exact hours this weekend, but you can imagine how low they are.[i]

So Art...what have I got here?
Sell as is? Â Buy it myself and refurb it? Â Value?
Hmmm, I think it's a boat.. That is sweet I'd love to have that. Â Looks like it was taken cared of if you're looking for a boat better grab it, especially if the price is right. But it's still a 40yr old boat, first thing I'd look at are the stringers and floors for any delam, if it sat inside all the time odds are good that it's in good shape, but if the price is right I'd grab it anyways..
Is all the underwater hardware steel??, rudder looks like steel but the strut kinda looks like bronze??..

Nope it ain't nothing special just a nice clean classic, if all you want to do is sell it then it better be cheap, I thought you wanted it for yourself?. It is a nice cruiser like I said I'd like to have it..
Is the boat close to Mike, he could look at it for ya.

If she'll sell it cheap enough, I might go for it...make a nice Corporate Cruiser lol  Re-do to period correct interior and a lil spit shine...good to go Â
That may be a run of the mill boat, but it looks to be in better that average shape for the year,
And would be a great ride on the river, I know you and other guys here will know more than me, But that vintage will be heavier than newer boats, and would be a great riding cruzer.
And like others have said............
If the price is right, it seems like it would be an easy flip.
